Day 1  

Marrakech

Flight Details:

6.25am Gatwick - 10.10am Marrakech
Travel into the heart of Marrakech for Dinner and overnight stay at the 5 star hotel Kenzi Menara Palace

Day 2 

Marrakech

After breakfast, the day will start with a visit to Majorelle Gardens , bought by the late French fashion designer , Yves St Laurent in 1980. This is a psychedelic desert mirage of 300 plant species from 5 continents, and at its heart is the Majorelle’s electric-blue deco studio, showcasing a rich panorama of Morocco’s indigenous inhabitants, the Berbers, through displays of about 600​​ artifacts . YSL’s memorial is in the gardens . After this visit , we return to the Kenzi Menara Palace with the opportunity to spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool . ​ In the evening discover the incredible flavours of Marrakech with our one-of-a-kind Street Food Tour. Step off the beaten path and explore the hidden streets where locals gather to enjoy mouth watering Moroccan cuisine. This tour is all about connecting with the heart of the city and immersing yourself in its rich culture . We want to make Marrakech feel like your own city, so we will find amazing tasting dishes that regular tourists may miss out on.  Depending on your appetite, we will try between 5-8 delicious offerings from various parts of Medina . Get ready to indulge in a unique culinary adventure that will leave a lasting impression on your taste buds and memories .

Day 3

Essaouira

After finishing breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and head towards the town of Ounagha. The total drive time to the vineyard at Val d’ Argan is between 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Our first stop on route will be at Chichaoua for a coffee break. This place is known for its exquisite hand made carpets by local Berber women. The next stop will be at the Argan Oil co-operative where you can see the best quality Argan oil being created for use on the skin as well as culinary uses. Next, we will head out for our wine tasting lunch which will take approximately two to three hours. There will be an opportunity to buy some rare Moroccan wines to bring back with us during this visit. From here, we will head to the beautiful coastal town of Essaouira. We will check into Hotel Medina Essaouira. You will have a free evening to rest and recover from the journey.

Day 4

Essaouira

After breakfast, we will head out for a guided tour of Essaouira .

This will be followed by a grazing seafood late afternoon lunch/ early dinner.

Day 5

Essaouira

After breakfast, we will leave you free to explore the town on your own and absorb some of the local culture. We will meet around 3pm and head to the local markets for some food shopping to take to a local Riad where the hosts will cook dinner with us.

Day 6 

Agafay desert

After breakfast, we will say good bye to Essaouira and head towards the Agafay desert. Here we will spend the night in the Agafay desert luxury camp. During the day we will enjoy Moroccan tea and explore the desert. In the evening , dinner will be served under the stars with magnificent views of the desert landscape and heady dining areas.

You can relax around the pool with drinks and chill late into the night.

Day 7 

Marrakech     

After breakfast, we will return to our hotel in Marrakech. You will have a free day to rest and recover. In the evening we will head out to La Maison Arabe for a step-by-step insight into Moroccan cuisine with a cookery class and then dinner.

Day 8

Marrakech

After breakfast, we leave for the beautiful, refreshing Ourika Valley, for a very different cooking experience with the villagers, followed by lunch. 

We spend the entire day in the valley and return to our hotel for a relaxing evening with hammam, spa and henna.

Day 9 

Marrakech

After breakfast, we rest and pack our bags for our return.   

In the evening we enjoy a farewell dinner in the fabulous Dar Essalam, one of Marrakech’s best Moroccan restaurants. Its exquisite interior is breath-taking.

The evenings entertainment includes a live trio, belly dancers and a tray dancer.

Marrakech


         We enjoy our last breakfast at the Kenzi Menara Palace before we catch our flight home.
