East Kent - 9 Day Tour

Day 1

Meeting points: Gatwick or Heathrow airport for overseas travellers, and Abode Hotel Canterbury for domestic travellers.

A welcome dinner will be hosted at the hotel.

Day 2

Post-breakfast, we'll head to Whitstable coast for a leisurely walk and a seafood picnic. Guests will have ample time to explore this charming coastal town with its active fishing port.

Day 3

A brief walk after breakfast to the captivating Canterbury Cathedral.

Lunch will be a traditional Sunday affair, followed by a unique punting tour on the River Stour. The evening is free for personal activities.

Day 4

An early breakfast precedes our checkout and departure for London. Post-hotel check-in, a guided tour of London, a pre-theatre dinner, and a West End show are planned.

Day 5

We return to Kent today and check into a country house hotel.

Afternoon tea will be served, with the remainder of the day at leisure to enjoy the hotel's amenities or the Kent countryside.

Day 6

After a relaxed breakfast and checkout, we'll visit a vineyard for a tour and wine tasting. We'll return to the Canterbury hotel to rest before an evening food tour, which includes microbrewery beer tasting.

Day 7

Following a substantial breakfast, we'll tour Kent's most esteemed castles: Deal, Walmer, and Dover, then Leeds Castle, with an optional hot-air balloon ride (additional fee required).

The evening's entertainment is a medieval feast (fancy dress optional).

Day 8

After breakfast, we'll shop at an artisan farm store for local ingredients, which we'll use in a cooking class at lunch.

Dev will present a farewell tasting menu for our last evening together.

Day 9

Check-out and transfers back to the airports or other pre-arranged onward travel points are arranged.
