Croatia - 8 Day Tour

Day 1: 

Flight Details: 09.40 Gatwick - 13.10 (local times) Split Croatia.

Rest day. Dinner at Plaza Duce hotel.

Day 2: 

Our first outing will be to the Krka National Park and the famous Skradinski Buk, including a boat trip. Lunch will be at hand-picked local traditional tavern. The highlight of this lunch will be Dalmatian Peka. This is a meat dish cooked under an iron bell. 

Day 3: 

Hosted by local Split expert Henry, we will embark on a gentle walking tour of Split.

The highlight of the day is a visit to Stella Croatica. Here we will enjoy a culinary presentation of the principles of Mediterranean diet and enjoy a four-course lunch.

This experience includes entry to the Klis fortress (used as a location for the fictional city of

Meereen in the Game of Thrones! )

Day 4: 

Travel to Dubrovnik where we will stop on route for Wine tasting in Pelješac area.

We will then continue to Ston where we will enjoy fresh oysters and seafood. The taste of the seafood is nothing like anywhere else.

Day 5: 

Dubrovnik has been made famous by The Game of Thrones, the famous HBO television series based on the series of fantasy novels. Dubrovnik boasts of some of the best and diverse restaurants in the whole of Croatia. The food is heavily influenced by cuisines from all over the Mediterranean. 

This day also includes travel by cable car to Srd. (Weather permitting)

Day 6: 

We enjoy a garden to table experience today at Gruda & Konavle where we take part in a cooking class and enjoy lunch at the Tavern Kameni Dvori.

You can also experience milking their in-house goat!  While the food is cooking, wine tasting is offered, and the hosts proudly present their 500 year old family tree stories.

Day 7:

Enjoy a full free day of rest in Dbrovnik with free time to explore or chill out in the hotel as you choose. 

Day 8: 

Transfer to DBV airport and departure. Flight from DBV to Gatwick
